Dear Parents/Carers
In
Term 4 I will be leaving Tuart Hill Primary School and taking up the position
of Principal at Madeley Primary School. I have enjoyed my time as Principal
over the past six years and am very sad to be leaving all the wonderful
students, parents and staff here at Tuart Hill. I believe that we have come a
long way and have achieved some wonderful things. Some notable highlights
include:
- The Centenary celebrations
- Building the Community Arts centre under the Federal Government’s Building the Education Revolution funding
- Development of the kitchen through the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program
- Development of the garden through the Greenfingers TV show
- Implementation of sustainability initiatives across the school
- Implementation of a successful ICT program which has resulted in greater student access to computers and tablets
- Becoming an Independent Public School
My
replacement for Term 4 and beyond is yet to be decided. As soon as this
information is available it will be shared with the school community.
